On January 6th Dave Martineau was on his way back to his home in Naples Idaho when he was involved in a terrible car accident near Billings Montana.
His injuries are quite extensive, they include two fractures in his skull, a broken ankle, all the ribs on his left side are broken, a punctured lung, several spinal fractures and a severe brain injury!
His beautiful bride of 38 years Brenda and their 3 daughters Sarah, Amber and Heather are all by his side at St. Vincents Hospital in Billings Montana.
Dave will be in the hospital for quite a while and it costs a lot of money to be the family of the person in the hospital. Every meal has to be bought from the cafeteria or a fast food place, every night not spent in a chair next to the bed of the loved one is at least $75.00, And when they are in ICU, many times only one person can stay with them, so there will be motel expenses. Not to mention all of the day to day things required. And all of the thigns a person needs that they didn`t have time or presence of mind to pack in an emergency
Dave and Brenda have been wonderful commuity loving people and they would never ask for help, so, I will ask for them.
The next paragraph is a message sent from their loving daughter Sarah, this describes Dave in a nutshell.
Dad was in the Air Force and retired after 20 years of service as a Master Sergeant. He loved being a part of Civil Air Patrol as a young man and joined again in the Nampa Squadron about ten years ago and is still an active member. He was involved in a rollover accident and was ejected from the vehicle and is in critical condition at St. Vincent in Billings, Montana. His wife of 38 years, Brenda is at his side as well as his three girls Amber, Sarah, and Heather. He is a strong, kind, and courageous man and would never ask anyone for help. However, he is in need of prayers, love and support right now the help him heal.
Please, PRAY for this family!! And give what you can.
It is times like these that we all need to help take care of one another.
Money is short due to all the unexpected expenses, so lets show them what we are all made of! Give them one less thing to have to worry about.
