Medical fund for Cassius the Warrior Kid

We are raising funds for the Warrior Kid Cassius and his amazing Warrior Queen-Mama La-Toya. Cass will be undergoing medical treatments at SickKids for a minimum of 6 months (but may easily continue for 9 months or more). During this time, La-Toya is taking a leave from office work to be a full time caregiver and cheerleader to Cass in hospital. Being a full-time caregiver is emotionally and financially draining. On top of regular monthly bills (rent, utilities, etc.) La-Toya will have substantial additional expenses such as: medications and medical procedures not covered by OHIP or insurance, transportation to and from the hospital (all hours), prepared food for La-Toya to eat (both for in hospital and at home after a long day in the hospital), gifts for Cassius (to keep his spirits up and for holidays), and other unforeseen expenses. While we cannot help directly with La-Toya’s emotional labor, we can ease the financial burden, and thus give her piece of mind financially throughout this challenging process.
