Because of California Law and its cap on Medical Malpractice and a short Statute of Limitations, Bobbie was ultimately left to fend for herself. Having a previous independent, capable, secure life, her finances have been completely depleted because of her increasingly expensive and crucial medical needs. No longer able to speak, round the clock care-givers are necessary for her to live on her own.
We would be so grateful for your contributions to help Bobbie, to assist in keeping her healthy, safe and secure and to pay for her crucial care takers and medical equipment. She is a gift to everyone whose life she has touched, she is the beacon of strength and a true inspiration to elderly people everywhere.
Every day, a spirited, dynamic and vibrant Bobbie continues to make beautiful art. It is her passionate and joyful communication with the outside world. Our Mom has never lost her raucous sense of humor, even in the face of much adversity, and it is our wish for her to continue to live in her peaceful and compassionate home environment.
