As a lot of you know, Bill has been diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer on October 20th, 2016. Since then he has undergone several Ultra Sounds, X-rays, Blood Tests, a Liver Biopsy and most recent has had a stint placed into his stomach because of blocked bile ducts. Bill is unable to continue working and has had to leave his job to start his chemo treatments on November 29th, 2016.
Bill has touched all of our lives, he has always put others before himself. He has worked in the community most of his life, this year - he is Governor of District 1 for Kin Canada. He was past District Deputy Grand Master for the Brant Masonic District. Bill has been a member of the Cayuga Masonic Lodge for 17 years, a Kin member for 20 years and new member of the Shriners Club this year.
A very proud example of his volunter work is that hes helped raise $344,000.00 for the Cystic Fibrosis Canada 2 years ago. Bill has been apart of an endless amount of charity events to help support our local communities, now it is our turn to help him and his family.
Bill and his family have a long road ahead of them. During this heart wrenching time, the only focus they should have to worry about, are Bill's health and treatments.
As a powerful community that we are, let's join arms and support Bill in any way we can.
Bill, my message to you... we are all here for you, we will pray every day for you, we support you in any way possible, but most of all, we all Love you.
