Medical Fund For Bethany Vargas
On Wednesday September 1st 2021 Bethany, her new fiancé Anthony and their cat Fleur (She is a pure breed blue smoke Maine Coon) were making a big move to Florida where they would soon call home! With two cars and all their belongings excited to start their new adventure soon to be MR. and MRS.
At 3:29 pm in Colby Kansas a Prius hit Bethany and Fleur from oncoming traffic going 75 miles per hour. Anthony was driving their second car in front of Bethany where he watched the entire thing in his rear view mirror trying to walkie talkie her to watch out but unfortunately was too late. Anthony rushed to pull Bethany out of the car. Anthony suffered from shrapnel in his arm that he was later looked and treated with stitches. (Today September 3rd Anthony is in the ER being looked out to make sure he is okay physically as he is suffering from the trauma of what he witnessed.)The driver who was responsible was pronounced dead due to impact and his car exploding. He was suspected to be intoxicated, he was reported with erratic driving. The police were already on the lookout for him. Bethany was rushed to the nearest hospital (Citizen Medical Hospital) Where Doctors and Specialties decided it would be best if she was treated at a trauma hospital. At 12:00 am Bethany was flown to Swedish hospital in Denver Colorado by flight for life. Where she is currently in doctors care. Bethany is suffering with broken bones, facial and head trauma. Where she is awaiting multiple surgeries . Their cat was also seen by an emergency vet and next day released.
