i posted a fundraiser for baby Rafa last year. Unfortunately his family needs greater help than before.
Here's his Father Dennis' plea
"I am the father of this precious little angel. We named him Raphael Anthony. a few months after he was born, he was diagnosed with Epilepsy, Etiology (origin/cause) still not yet known until this day.
My heart is devastated everytime i see my little angel suffer from his seizures, and his condition. As if it is not painful enough, now he has complications. His eyesight has not developed thus he might grow up blind;
He suffers Pneumonia; He is more than a year old but he can not chew nor swallow food, thus as seen in his photo he has undergone "peg insertion" (method of placing a tube into the stomach percutaneously, aided by endoscopy).
Despite all these, I can see my son, my precious little angel fight for his life. Reason why I am man enough to stand up for him.
Indefinitely his peg insertion will remain in his stomach. Indefinitely he will be taking higher dosed antibiotics (on and off).
Indefinitely we will be staying in and out of the hospital.
Me and my family are here to fight with my son. We may be mentally, physically and emotionally drained, but that we can recharge.
Our funds however have become depleted, and with only me working in a family of four (I have an older child aged 9, who also demands for my time, affection and monetary support), I need your kind hearts to reach out to us with any means you can.
As we are currently admitted at the hospital with no certainty as to when we will be discharged, we need the funds the soonest possible.
To our donors, my little angel sends his hugs and kisses to you."
