Hi there, my name is Ariel and I'd like to tell you a little bit about someone so special.  
This person is one of the strongest women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with.  She is a mother to four beautiful children that resemble her best qualities.  They know their mother to be kind, strong, compassionate, and self-less.  However, they don't know their mother is a warrior; actually not many do.  This is a secret that has been kept from them as well as other close members of her family.  My friend has recently been diagnosed with breast and cervical cancer. This woman's selflessness is overwhelming and with the understanding and appreciation that I have for her for not wanting to worry her family, friends, and fellow colleagues- there does come a time when you need to reach for a helping hand in life.
Life happens, we have all heard it before. However, one thing that this world has lost sight of is living.  Living to make memories, living to see another sun rise or even smell the morning dew.  Those are the things that restore your humanity and humble you.  I ask you to please help me.  Help me to help my friend understand that she is not alone in this!
So to my friend, if you are reading this.  I want you to live! Fight like hell, but when you get too tired to fight, lay down and rest, and let the rest of us fight for you!
