Hi friends, if you don’t know me my name is Tara and my perfect little handsome man Meeko, a Himalayan cat is suffering from a combination of medical complications that have resulted in needing emergency surgery. I found him dull, severely dehydrated, and not moving one afternoon and immediately knew something was wrong. After rushing him to a 24/7 emergency hospital and running some test we found that he had numerous crystals formed in his bladder and an irruption from a block in his urinary track plus some kind of clog or foreign body stuck in his intestines. Without surgery, Meeks wouldn’t be able to make it so of course I am doing everything I can to see my little man okay again…the tests, surgery, hospitalization, and medications are running really expensive and will be over 10k which I currently do not have a rainy day fund for outside of my normal expenses. He is only 3 years old and unfortunately I don’t currently have pet insurance since he was so young and always healthy. I won’t be making that mistake again…it’ll be a long road of recovering for Meeks and he will need a special diet moving forward. Any help for my one and only son is greatly appreciated and I just can’t wait to have him back chasing each other around my apartment with his zoomies again :( thanks so much for reading my little guys story
