On May 10th, my dad suffered a severe trailer accident. He was driving home from work when a car got in front of him. Since he knew his trailer would kill the vehicle's driver, he swerved to the side. The backside of the trailer detached and crushed the cabin with him inside. Firefighters had to cut open the vehicle to rescue him.
He is currently in the ICU at University Hospital with 18 broken ribs, 9 on each side, and several stitches. He also has pneumonia and is breathing through a ventilator. His kidneys are also being closely monitored, as they have had issues retaining water.
