A few months ago I decided to apply for a program called the Atlantis Project. The Atlantis Project is a medical fellowship through which accepted pre-med fellows shadow doctors abroad. The Atlantis Project offers several valuable learning experiences. As an Atlantis fellow, I will have the opportunity to observe and learn from surgeons in several areas of medicine, learn other cultures, and examine different healthcare systems and how they work compared to our own here in the US. I have been accepted and am now exploring different methods to raise funds for my trip. I will be spending three weeks in Mallorca, Spain this coming summer. I need to raise $5,000 to cover all of the program fees and airfare. My fee deadline, March 1, 2017, is coming quick! I hope that you strongly consider helping me raise my funds.
