Hi, my name is Ash, I’m a passionate 19 year old videographer from Adelaide. The last few months I’ve spent chasing my dreams on the Gold Coast, behind all the fun I’ve been hiding a health condition that has seriously deteriorated.
In 2023 I found out I had a terminal liver disease that was going to shut down my body and I was going to need a transplant. Just recently on the 8th of may I came back to Adelaide and surprised my family and many others not knowing that I’d end up in hospital the day before I was due to go back to the Gold Coast.
I presented to hospital very sick and from there it got much worse. The first 4 days I was staying reasonably stable having visitors and hoping to go back home but that changed in seconds when I had bad bleed and was coughing and vomiting up blood. With 2 emergency calls and being rushed to ICU for emergency surgery I can say I’m not in the best position to be running away from these health issues.
I am since feeling much better and I am having some small procedures done to help fast track me for a liver transplant. It’s going to be difficult to find a match because my liver is so damaged I have to receive a full liver and can’t take partial donations but I will push through and something will come up.
the money from this fundraiser would go towards keeping me and my family supported through these hard times with a potential use to help me get back to my feet again when I am healthy. As for all the left over money I would be looking into some charities that help people get through things like this and donate to help others.
thank you for your time and I hope you consider supporting us
