On Tuesday Savanna and Chris Lemley were referred to Ruby Hopsital in Morgantown because baby Delilah had been having complications with her health since she was born. Delilah is 11 weeks old and hasn't been gaining weight or able to keep her formula down no matter what doctors recommended. Upon arriving at the hospital in Morgantown doctors have run lots of tests and done many scans on this sweet baby to find out she has a vascular ring called a left aortic arch with aberrant right subclavian artery which requires surgery. On Monday Delilah will have to undergo open heart surgery to fix this complication. She will have a sternotomy to release the vascular ring and reroute the artery. She is so young and there are many risks. The recovery for her will be 6-8 weeks depending on how her little body handles the procedure.
