Medical Expenses To Help Mickey Battle Cancer

Thanks for getting this far. Meet Mickey. He is the goof ball of the family and just might be the funniest, outgoing, always smiling, won't hesitate to tell you the dorkiest jokes, type of man. He's a dad, an uncle, brother, grandfather, husband, and a great friend.
Roughly 3 months ago he started feeling his throat swell. He went to the doctor, they had a million ideas and started running tests. No luck. After the swallowing, breathing, coughing, laughing, etc. got worse, he went back to the doctor and they immediately told him get to the hospital for more tests. Once he arrived at the hospital, this growth turned out to be 4 growths, one quite LARGE! His family all sat next to the phone as he was giving us updates on the progress. Biopsies, PET scans, ultrasounds, checking for blood flow, etc. Each test came back with scary news... :-( The infected lymph nodes are vicious. Results came back that it's a cancer called Carcinoma.
That's what brings us to asking for your help. Mickey lives about 4 hours away from this potential life saving hospital (MD Anderson). He was laid off due to Covid-19, has a lot of $40 copays, gas, sleeping arrangements, food, etc.
We are here to ask for your help to fill up his tank, have a place to sleep at night while he waits for his full day of appointments, help cover a co-pay. His first set of appointments consisted of 9 different doctors. The next set was 12 appointments. That is a lot of co-pays, so he needs help now. Maybe you can cover a breakfast sandwich or lunch? Anything will help and if we all partner up and do a little, it will amount into a LOT. They are pulling teeth, starting radiation 6 days a week and kicking off chemo right now. It's important to have your help soon.
