Hello! My name is Addie and I am organizing a fundraiser for my friend and colleague, Judy (Judith) Jacobson.

On Tuesday, April 29th, Judy woke up with facial swelling and drooping, and against her better judgment, she arrived at work where she was quickly met with concerned colleagues who prompted her to go to the ER for fear of a stroke. After having some tests run and ultimately an MRI scan, they found a tumor in Judy’s frontal lobe and an infection in her face. Judy will have to undergo brain surgery to remove the tumor as soon as the facial infection has cleared. Unfortunately, this means she will be unable to return to work for an unforeseen amount of time.

Judy has a 14-year-old daughter that lives at home with her, and we want to help support her and her family in any way possible during this difficult time. For anyone who knows Judy, she is an upbeat friend, coworker, and mother. She is always showing her love to others, planning events, coordinating game nights, you name it! Let’s all come together and show Judy and her family some love during this hard time.
