Ben and Marilou Teichroeb are my in-laws from Manitoba, Canada. More than 20 years ago Marilou came down with Lymes disease and suffered for years before the doctors ever confirmed the disease and began treatment. Ever since then she has had significant digestive issues and auto immune diseases. More recently, in the last few years she has been dealing with fairly severe heart issues. We believe these problems stem from the Lymes she had many years ago. with the free health care system in Canada, doctors refused to do any significant testing, so she continues to deal with these problems and they are only getting worse. They have finally made the decision to do testing here in the U.S. This is a huge financial undertaking for anyone, but especially for the Teichroebs since they don't have insurance here in the States.
