Medical Expenses for Maddie, Bella, & Vickie

Hi there friends. My mom, Vickie, along with my nieces, Maddie (11) and Bella (9), were involved in a terrible car accident on Monday, October 3rd, that resulted in them all being rushed to Vanderbilt with critical injuries.

Both of the girls were ejected from the vehicle and are extremely blessed to have survived, however, both sustained wry serious injuries. Bella’s injuries include but are not limited to a 6 hr surgery to repair a compound fracture of her humerus and a severed brachial artery in her arm. She also sustained fractured vertebrae in her neck and back, a fractured sacrum, a severe concussion, and major cuts/contusions all over. Maddie’s injuries include a broken collar bone, a broken arm, a fractured pelvis, a severe concussion, and road rash covering most of her body. My mom also sustained multiple serious injuries including a broken pelvis, fractured vertebrae, and broken ribs among other things.

All three are stable thanks to the incredible staffs at VUMC and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, but have an extremely long road to recovery. My mom is the primary provider and caregiver for my nieces and will unfortunately not be able to work for the foreseeable future. Funds collected will be used to cover their medical expenses and to help support them while everyone recovers.
