Medical Expenses, Lost Wages, Gas for travel to appointments

Hello!! Most of you know us. I am Beth, My husband is Dave and our Daughter is Izabella. On May 15th, I will be having back surgery done. This is my second surgery in the same place. This time it will be a Spinal Fusion on T-6 -T-9. We are hoping that the Dr will be able to do the complete surgery through my back and will not have to crack my chest open to o any of it. I have suffered with back pain for many many years. I have gone through countless injections, physical therapy, muscle relaxers, steroids, anti-inflammatory medications, pain medication, Drs Telling me nothing is wrong. I have known for a while that this surgery was inevitable, but I just didn’t want to face the truth. Now, the time has come for it.

My husband is unfortunately out of time to take off. He just took his Vacation time to go back home to MD to see his Grandmother one last time before she passed away and to attend her funeral. All completely understandable.

All I am asking is if anyone would have a little extra that they might be able to donate in case Dave needs to take a little time to help me, and to be able to take me to my follow-up appointments because I know he won’t be able to stay with me after my surgery because he has to work. The days that he would need to take off to take me to these appointments are unfortunately unpaid.
