Hi, my name is Nancy, and I'm seeking financial help for my brother Zain. Zain is a 34 year old hardworking husband, and father of a 7 month old son. On December 20th, 2022 at about 11pm Zain was driving home to Modesto from work in Santa Clara. During his drive, he suffered from an acute intercranial hemorrhage (brain bleed). Zain was not able to seek medical help for himself and two hours passed before we were able to locate him. Three more hours passed until he was given proper medical care. His initial prognosis was brain death. Zain spent over a week in an induced coma to allow the brain swelling to subside, and against all odds he was able to wake up again. After being on a ventilator, feeding tube, and countless medical devices, Zain was moved to an acute rehab facility on January 11th. He has a very long recovery ahead of him. We do not know if he will be able to walk again, and he has some language barriers, but we are simply thankful to have him with us. Although his medical insurance has covered most of the initial costs, there are plenty more to come, a whole years worth, if not more. Any money raised will be used for his medical costs, as well as for his 7 month old son in hopes to avoid financial strain during these tough times.
