Hey guys My Name Is Ashly Garcia as some of y’all might know my sister Yomaina Garcia (Yomi) had a bad car accident on January 27th around 2:30am Yomi was on her way home when she had a tragic car accident which led her to hit a tree head on. It has been a very hard moment for me and my family watching Yomi fight for her health. Yomi was brought to the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital that night we were told that she was in critical condition due to her condition we were told she had to have been transferred in a helicopter over to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston Tx due to the injuries that she suffered. We were told she had 3 fractures on her right leg down to her ankle , her left hand wrist was broken, neck and collarbone were broken, and a minor bleed in her brain. When she arrived to the hospital we were told she had one of her intestines had erupted inside her stomach which led her to have a open stomach surgery which that had to remove the fluids that she had get drained. she was left with a big hole on her belly. Yomi then had to get 2 other surgeries for her leg to get it back into shape and in place. As of January 29th Yomi has now been stable using a breathalyzer in ICU. She continues to be strong and she is fighting to be able to breath on her own. This means a lot doing this for my sister it breaks my heart so so much to see her in the condition that she is in seeing a sibling or any family in a hospital is the last place you would want to see them in, and the funds that are collected will be 100% used for all of Yomi’s medical expenses and medications. We would really really appreciate anything that comes from the heart but most of all please if you could just take a minute and pray for my sister and pray for her well being that would be more then enough it would mean a lot. Hola chicos, mi nombre es Ashly García, ya que algunos de ustedes podrían saber que mi hermana Yomaina García (Yomi) tuvo un grave accidente de coche el 27 de enero alrededor de las 2:30 a.m. Yomi estaba de camino a casa cuando tuvo un trágico accidente de coche que la llevó a chocar contra un árbol. Ha sido un momento muy difícil para mí y para mi familia ver a Yomi luchar por su salud. Yomi fue llevada al Hospital Memorial de Nacogdoches Tx esa noche, nos dijeron que estaba en estado crítico debido a su condición, nos dijeron que tenía que haber sido trasladada en un helicóptero al Hospital Memorial Hermann en Houston Tx debido a las lesiones que sufrió. Nos dijeron que tenía 3 fracturas en la pierna derecha hasta el tobillo, que la muñeca de la mano izquierda estaba rota, que el cuello y la clavícula estaban rotos y un pequeño sangrado en el cerebro. Cuando llegó al hospital, nos dijeron que uno de sus intestinos había estallado dentro de su estómago, el blanqueamiento le llevó a una cirugía de estómago abierto que tuvo que eliminar los líquidos que le habían drenado. Se quedó con un gran agujero en el vientre. Yomi luego tuvo que someterse a otras 2 cirugías para su pierna para que volviera a estar en forma y en su lugar. A partir del 29 de enero, Yomi ha estado estable usando un respirador en la UCI. Ella sigue siendo fuerte y está luchando por poder respirar por su cuenta. Esto significa mucho hacer esto por mi hermana, me rompe tanto el corazón verla en la condición de que está viendo a un hermano o a cualquier familia en un hospital, es el último lugar en el que te gustaría verlos, y los fondos que se recaudan se utilizarán al 100% para todos los gastos médicos y medicamentos de Yomi. Realmente agradeceríamos cualquier cosa que venga del corazón, pero sobre todo, por favor, si pudieras tomarte un minuto y rezar por mi hermana y rezar por su bienestar, eso sería más que suficiente, significaría mucho.
