My name is Alberto Vasquez and I'm a handyman in the Chicago area. Many of you know me because I've worked on your home in some way or another. This is very difficult for me, but I'm writing today to ask for your help for an emergency that is taking place right now in my family.
My sister in law, Yesenia Santiago is a beautiful young mother of two and only 23 years old. On July 8, Yesenia suddenly became severely ill and was having difficulty breathing. She was rushed to the hospital in Mexico and fell into a coma. She was hooked up to machines just to keep her alive. We have been told that if we don't come up with money to keep her in the hospital, that they will have no choice but to terminate her treatment and end her life.
The doctors are not sure what caused Yesenia's illness, but she has slowly showed some signs that have given them (and us) hope that she will recover.
My brother (her husband), Julio, is currently in the US on a work visa and is unable to leave the country to be with Yesenia. He was told that if he leaves, he will not be able to reenter the country. He is the only provider for their family and is the only person bringing in income to keep her alive...but it has not been enough.
If you're able to donate, it would be much appreciated. If you could also please pray that Yesenia would be completely healed, that the doctors would figure out what is causing her illness, and provide the treatment she needs.
Thank you so much for your generosity and God bless you!
