December 2023 update - we recently found out that Tia’s cancer has relapsed again, making this the third overall occurrence. Due to this, she will be undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy which she will have to travel for, causing her to miss work. She also has an upcoming appointment at City of Hope Cancer Center in Southern California which may require further appointments and treatment down in this area. With all of the upcoming traveling for appointments and missing work due to appointments and side effects from chemotherapy, we are again asking to please help us help Tia. She hates asking for help, so I’m asking for her. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and even a share would mean so much! Proceeds will go to medical and transportation expenses, rent and utilities, and other expenses related to her recovery. Thank you❤️
August 2023 update - at Tia’s post-op appointment, we found out that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. Because of this, she will be undergoing immunotherapy treatment, but she is unable to start until she is fully healed from her surgery.
At the end of 2021, my boyfriend’s mom was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. After undergoing extensive chemotherapy and radiation, she was finally in remission. In some recent scans, it was discovered that the cancer has relapsed and has now spread to other organs and is quickly and aggressively spreading further. Please help us help Tia as she battles relapsed stage 3 cancer and a long road of radiation and surgery. Due to her cancer treatment, she will be on leave from work for an extended period of time and will be traveling back and fourth from Yreka to Sacramento frequently. Tia was born and raised in Siskiyou County and works locally in Yreka and is greatly valued and appreciated by her coworkers, family, and friends. She is a single mother of three, friend, sister, daughter, and cousin. She hates asking for help, so I’m asking for her. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and even a share would mean so much!
