During an extremely rare complication in childbirth Michelle had a difficult c-section that caused her baby, Finlay to be without oxygen for an extended period of time.  They have both had extended hospital stays and and will need ongoing medical care.   We all know the first year of parenting can be anxiety provoking. After their traumatic birth experience they are at increased risk of severe mood disorders.  Unfortunately there is no insurance covered counseling within a reasonable distance to them.  Our goal is to help them have access to weekly mental health support during this difficult first year without adding additional financial stress.  Many of you have asked how you can help, please consider contributing to this fund as your show of support.  Any unused funds will be donated to Every Mother Counts, and organization whose mission is to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere.  www.everymothercounts.org
