Jebiz “Jay” and Awilda Anderson, known for their friendship and generosity in the Oxford, Pennsylvania area, have faced recent and unexpected medical challenges. Jay, a Chester County SERT officer, Parkesburg Boro police officer and Navy veteran, required two surgeries this spring. Shortly after, Awilda, who works in pediatric dentistry and is a beloved mother and friend, began suffering a sudden abdominal illness requiring several surgeries. At this time, Awilda is hospitalized at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, is unable to eat or drink and requires additional surgeries.
