Medical expenses for Rob Robertson

First of all, I would like to say that rob wouldn’t want me doing this. He’s usually one to offer help and not ask for it. I’m his sister and this time I’m asking for him and his family. Through many years of hard work and determination rob has done his best to be healthy and be a great father and husband. After many doctor visits and more tests, Rob was diagnosed with hemochromatosis which affects the liver and potentially the heart. He currently goes through phlebotomy (getting blood drained) in order to get his iron levels down. It is helping but it’s a slow and tiring process. Rob was just in Winnipeg a couple weeks ago for a doc appointment and then went home to his family in flin flon. When he returned home, he had another doctor visit and upon examination, they found he had an irregular heartbeat. So now, they want him to see a cardiologist (especially with our history of losing mom at 50 to cardiomyopathy) which just happens to be on September 8th in Brandon. Rob just got back home after spending money to come to Winnipeg and now he has to find away to pay for this trip. If you know rob, he would be the first to help a friend or stranger without hesitation. If you could help with anything it would be greatly appreciated. Anything helps ❤️
