Medical Expenses for Rebecca’s Lymphoma

Donation protected
Last November, Rebecca went to urgent care because she had a cold and felt that her lymph nodes were swollen as she had a small lump in her neck. The doctor at urgent care prescribed her an antibiotic and told her to follow up with her doctor if they didn’t go down. The lump seemed to go down and Rebecca did not seem to think much of it.

Fast forward a year later, Rebecca started to become concerned as she realized that the lump was still there and she now felt more than one. A few days later, Rebecca realized her neck was swollen. After going to the doctor they felt that she may have an infection and sent her for blood work. The blood work showed there was an infection and she was prescribed with antibiotics. They waited to see what the antibiotics would do and although the swelling went down the lumps were still there. Rebecca was then sent to an ENT where they found that she had a mass as well as a skin tag in her throat after sticking a camera through her nose. Rebecca was sent for a chest exam and a CT scan and on December 15th Rebecca received the news that she has Lymphoma.

For those who do not know Rebecca, to know her is to love her. Rebecca is a strong, charismatic, reliable and caring person. She is a student at John Jay and will be graduating with her bachelors this coming May. We have no doubt that she will beat this. Please consider donating to help Rebecca fight this and sharing her story. Prayers are appreciated.
