A family close to my heart since the age of 11, is in need of some financial help. The Reader family has always had an open door to me and my family and this the least I can do.
In December 2016, Rebecca suffered a massive stroke in her brainstem which has caused physical and mental impairment. Unsure of her recovery, she has been moved to her home, needing around the clock care. Since her return home in April, this has not been an easy adjustment for Jim, who has had a pacemaker put in and is in need of a hip replacment. The medical equipment needed will help assist her physically, due to Jim having to retire and take care of Rebecca full time. Insurance has stopped paying for the necessary home healthcare and medical equipment and supplies. The additional equipment includes a handicap accessible van, power hoyer lift and various supplies to make her recovery more comfortable for Rebecca and Jim. Any help would be greatly appreciated by the family, even if its $5. No amount is to small.
