Two weeks ago, our lives changed.  After struggling with undiagnosed blood pressure issues and depression, our dad (Randy Wade) had a psychotic episode.  His hallucinations led to an incident involving severe head trauma.  He has recovered better than expected from the physical wounds but still requires some wound care, constant supervision, and time to heal.  Additionally, his blood pressure is still not fully stabilized after having been in the hospital for 2 weeks.  This leads us to our current situation: no inpatient psychiatric facility within Dad’s insurance network will accept him due to the ongoing medical issues.  We’ve found a facility that we think will give dad the best chance at “finding himself” again but will have to pay out of pocket for the treatments.  We know how loved our dad is and how many lives he has touched throughout his years of service.  Any assistance given at this time will go exclusively to his rehabilitation and treatment.
