Medical Expenses for Poppie
Donation protected

My grandfather, formally known as “poppie” to everyone has recently undergone surgery after months of misdiagnoses, unclear results, physical therapy, and tests to remove a newly found massive tumor from his spine- Unfortunately after a week of waiting we have received the news that our grandfather, father and friend does in fact have cancer. While we are waiting for the complete and final diagnose my family and I are in need of assistance to handle these unexpected expenses.
My grandmother has decided to take him home instead of placing him into a facility so he can be around his family while he builds his strength to be able to receive treatment (especially because of COVID). With that being said we now have to purchase a wheel chair because he doesn’t not have the strength to walk, a ramp to place on the side of our house to be able to transport him to his appointments, a recliner for his living room so he can relax and we can make him as comfortable as we can,and the abundance of treatments and procedures that his Medicare does not cover, while being retired the expenses pile up when you’re on a fixed income.
We know that funds may be tight everywhere because of COVID but anything really does help. If you cannot donate monetarily we will gladly accept your prayers.
We hope to be able to nurse him back to health to be able to receive treatments to begin to tackle his cancer. To get him back to his spit fire personality and to spend time with his grandchildren that his adores more than anything in this world.
Thank you for reading this and God bless.
