Donation protected
I am sorry to say that the day after this fund was started our dear Polly, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, friend and sister, passed from this life. Financial help is still greatly appreciated to help with previous medical expenses and now funeral costs. Read more to have some insight into Polly and her family's battle in the past months.
This fund has been set up on behalf of Polly Whipple and her immediate family. We are reaching out to our family and friends to share some of her journey and ask for your help. Many of you, even friends and family, may not be aware of the heartbreaking situation that has occurred recently in Polly's life. This is because Jim, Polly and their immediate family have been trying their best to to deal with their challenges privately and self-sufficiently. It is only because of the dire situation they have found themselves in currently, that they have agreed to let us (Polly's extended family) reach out for help on their behalf. Any of you who know Polly, know what a strong, loving person she is and how she always been the rock and center of her family. Up until about 7 months ago she was working full-time, caring for her family and basically enjoying a life centered on her husband, children and grandchildren, then the unimaginable happened. After a few weeks of feeling tired, followed by a couple of weeks of progressively feeling quite ill, she was taken to the hospital, where she was found to have undiagnosed, stage 4 cancer which had already metastasized to her liver and other areas of her body. All of us who love her, especially her immediate family were devastated by this terrible news. But true to Polly's optimistic attitude, and the love which she has for her family, she chose to fight for a miracle. In the last few months she has endured every kind of life-extending treatment available, with amazing courage and determination. However recently, despite all the treatment, pain and suffering she has gone through, it was discovered that the cancer was still aggressively growing. At this point Polly and her family made the heartbreaking decision to discontinue the medical battle and let her rest from some of the pain and suffering caused by the treatment. As I am sure you can imagine, the last several months have been devastating for them emotionally, physically and financially. It is because of these financial difficulties caused by lack of work, medical expenses and the inability to collect disability funds, that we are reaching out to you for assistance. Anything you are able to donate will be very helpful and greatly appreciated, as are your thoughts and prayers. Thank you so very much.
