Medical Expenses for Patrick D'Amico
Donation protected
On Thursday, September 22nd, while driving to work, Pat was involved in a serious car accident. This incident left Pat with multiple extensive fractures including bilateral open femurs, bilateral radial & ulnars, tibial plateau, rib & facial fractures. He also suffered internal bleeding from liver, kidney, & colon lacerations/hematomas. Pat is currently admitted to the surgical/trauma intensive care unit and has already endured a twelve-hour surgery on his legs but has many more surgeries and obstacles to overcome. His recovery will be physically, emotionally, and financially taxing for him and his family.
Being a Long Island native, he enjoys fishing in his spare time and rooting for his favorite hockey team, the NY Rangers. Pat is an incredibly dedicated and hard-working employee of the local 200 plumbers union. Unfortunately, his job doesn't provide sick or medical leave, leaving the financial obligations up to him and his family. Pat will be receiving inpatient and outpatient treatment to regain his ability to walk (and fish) again. With an unknown window of time until recovery, we want Pat to be able to focus on healing instead of on his new financial burden. Any help is appreciated during this difficult and emotional time, thank you!
