Medical Expenses for Ollie
On June 10th, my nephew Ollie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer called medulloblastoma. Surgeons were able to remove 98% of the tumor but he’s now suffering from severe posterior fossa syndrome and has a long journey ahead of him. My brother Jerimee is taking him for his first proton therapy tomorrow (Monday) at 5:45 AM and will have to do the same 5 days a week for the next couple of months while my mom Nancy watches Ollie’s twin brother Gabe at the Ronald McDonald House. Ollie is also scheduled to start chemotherapy this week, which will continue for 9 to 12 months, and continues to receive daily speech, physical, and occupational therapy at the Marionjoy Rehab Hospital outside of Chicago.
Family and friends have already pulled together and given Ollie, Gabe, and Jerimee so much support and everyone is truly thankful. I’m starting this Go Fund Me to help with travel expenses, medical bills, and related costs as Jerimee is unable to work during this time and Ollie’s needs are significant. Anything you are able to donate will be appreciated and go directly to supporting Ollie, Gabe, and Jerimee during this challenging time.
Thank you, Nathan
