My name is Jessica Justice, and I am helping the Mountz family raise funds for their daughter Olivia. She is 13 years old and was recently diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) by the Childrens Hospital of Kings Daughters in Norfolk, VA.

If you are unfamiliar with CRPS it is a rare condition with fewer than 200,000 cases per year and even more rare in children. It is also known as the suicide disease due to the immense burning pain that comes with the condition.

Olivia is the oldest of 5 children ranging from 13 to 3. She has always been active and outgoing, but this rapid decline and seizure-like episodes that accompany CRPS have kept her from being able to participate in normal day-to-day activities. Her symptoms have progressed to the point that she could lose full mobility if she doesn't get treatment soon.

Olivia has been accepted to the program and the Spero Clinic (www.thesperoclinic.com) starting in late September 2022. This is a 12-15 week in-patient therapy program that comes with a cost of $50,000-$80,000, all of which is not covered by insurance which is why we are asking for help. In addition to the cost of treatment, the family will incur living expenses while re-locating from Virginia to Arkansas for this time frame. Whether by prayers for healing, donating funds or just spreading the word about this family's need, we know that in the end, the Lord will provide for this wonderful little girl, and she will be able to get the treatment that she needs to overcome CRPS.
