Medical expenses for Nayelly’s amputation
Hello everyone,
My name is Nayelly Gonzalez and I am 25 years old. I suffer from a condition called PVNS (Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis); joint disease characterized by inflammation and overgrowth of the joint lining. PVNS tumors have grown around my entire left foot and ankle.
The tumors continue to grow in size and quantity on my left foot, ankle and lower leg. It is extremely painful, uncomfortable and embarrassing. The tumor has taken over my bone, muscles and veins which as a result has limited what I can do on a daily basis. I withstand pain 24 hours a day, and no medication helps ease the pain.
In order to stop the tumors from taking over my entire leg and other parts of my body, I must have an amputation. My amputation is scheduled for August 2019 and I am expected to not be able to work for 6-12 months.
Your contributions will help me cover non-covered medical expenses, prosthetics, a person to take care of me when I have no one to help, and it will help me continue to have a roof over my head and food on my table.
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
