Medical Expenses for Mr Brian Aylesworth
The family started noticing things were off in November of 2020. Mr. Brian became lethargic and very forgetful. At first the family attributed it to possible post Covid symptoms. He had a CT scan in February and it showed a large tumor on his pituitary extending into his hypothalamus optic chiasm and wrapping around his pituitary stalk. He then Got referred to Uams and had surgery a month later on 04/21. He went through an 8 hour, very complicated surgery, and was doing well until 8 am the next morning where he was rushed to MRI and they found that he had a small stroke. He has lost function on the right side of his body and is having to be seen by multiple specialists and will need extensive therapy to get him back on his feet. He is currently in the neuro icu with hopes of moving to a regular room soon.
Even after getting out of the hospital Mr Brian will more than likely need inpatient rehab and then home health services and lastly outpatient therapy to regain all function.
Mr Brian and Mrs Debra are retired and on a fixed income therefore medical expenses are going to hit them hard. If you know them, they never turn away from lending a helping hand whether it be providing meals to kiddos, moving friends/family, or volunteering their time to help others. It is now our turn to help them.
The family is appreciative of whatever can be donated. Please keep them in your prayers.
