On November 11, 2020, Michelle Evans, a kindergarten teacher at Talbott Elementary School, had routine knee replacement surgery. Unfortunately, this surgery did not go as planned. When the therapist got her up to walk after the surgery Mrs. Evans collapsed and was unresponsive. After several minutes of resuscitating, Mrs. Evans was moved to the Crital Care Unit and placed on the ventilator. We now know she suffered a stroke. After several weeks, she is still in the Critical Care Unit. She is no longer on the ventilator but now has a feeding tube and a long road to recovery. Her husband has missed many days of work and income. They need prayers and any financial assistance you can give.
