Medical expenses for Marco Barrientos

Hi my name is Cinthia Barrientos and I’m here creating this GoFund for my cousin Marco Barrientos. On November 7, 2021 he was shot in his face/nose while out of town (Colorado). He was taken by helicopter to St. Mary’s Hospital. As many of y’all might know my cousin, he’s a strong one and we are praying for his recovery. That doesn’t take away the fact that he’s in a very difficult situation physically and emotionally. My aunt (his mom) had to fly to Colorado while she was in Mexico to be by his side. It’s been almost 1 week and he remains in the hospital sedated as you see in his picture. At this moment Dr is waiting for the inflammation to go down so they can proceed with surgery and potentially remove the bullet that went through his mouth. My cousin has no health insurance and my aunt is a single mother that don’t count with the necessary funds for what’s to come financially. It will be many months of recovery, therapy, and hospital visits, we know this is very expensive. Even just surgery and the hospital bills it’s already a big sum amount of money they will need. My aunt wants to bring him back to Houston and undergo surgery and treatment here we know Houston has some of the best Physicians. Another reason, she doesn’t have the money to be staying out in a hotel in another state, they originally live here in Houston. From my family, I ask if it’s in your heart to help out with ANYTHING please do so. We will greatly appreciate anything that’s donated for his medical expenses and long recovery that’s to come.
