Medical expenses for Mal

Over the last year, Mallory has been experiencing major back pain, swelling of extremities, dizziness, and severe headaches all throughout the day. She was rushed to the emergency room after fainting. She had suffered a dislocated shoulder and torn rotator cuff from the fall. Upon further tests, scans, and medical evaluation, the doctors had informed her that she’s suffering from renal failure with only 40% of total kidney function. She was also told that she has tumors all throughout her body ranging from her brain, throughout all organs in her body, and all down her spine. Mallory and her kiddos are traveling to Minnesota to meet with a specialized team of doctors for further evaluation. They will be going over treatment options that may be limited to dialysis or transplant, due to the fact that her kidneys are only functioning at 40%. They do not have more information about the stages of her renal failure or the progressive tumors at this time. Mallory’s life expectancy that the doctors here in Kansas explained, is only a year. Their family will be adjusting to the changes of future appointments, medical expenses, travel expenses, while worrying about the quality of care for their 6 kiddos. With Mallory not working I’ve decided to put together this GoFundMe page to help their family out through these unfortunate times. I will update this with more information after they get back from Minnesota.
