Medical Expenses For Lucas

Hey everyone. My names Lexi and I’m Lucas Petersons fiancé. On 12/14 Lucas had a seizure at 2:30am and was rushed to the ER in Burlington. A head CT was performed and they found a mass on his brain. They sent us to UIHC and a neurosurgeon admitted him and they did a biopsy surgery. On 12/21 we had an Oncology appointment in Iowa City. The preliminary results did not come back in our favor. Unfortunately the tumor is much larger on the MRI than the CT scan showed. We are also looking at a Stage 4 glioblastoma. Based on the biomarkers this tumor has been growing for years and we did not know. Removing it is not an option as it more than likely will cause him to become paralyzed. He will start chemo & radiation but this will most likely not kill his cancer - it will slow it down & stop the spread. He will also start PT & OT to work on his right side mobility. Any prayers or small donations will go a long way in helping us cover all our future medical bills on the unexpected journey.
