Medical Expenses for Liz Miles

On June 15th, 2020, our dear friend Liz Miles, had a medical event that led to the discovery of a brain tumor.  She was immediately taken to OHSU.  A few days later she had brain surgery to remove the tumor and was diagnosed with Lymphoma.  There are still a few unanswered questions, but we do know that Liz will be going through extensive chemotherapy in Portland, as the specialized treatment is not available in her hometown.  The tentative plan is that she will have a 3 to 5-day in-patient treatment, every 2 weeks, for an unknown amount of time.  Even though Liz has medical insurance from her employer, anything done in Portland is considered out-of-network.  This means that she will be responsible for a much higher out of pocket costs, plus the expense of commuting to OHSU.  Anyone who has had the privilege of knowing or working with Liz, knows what an amazing, kind, caring, compassionate, loving and giving person she is.  She has done so much for so many people, that it is our time to give back to her and show her how much we all love her!  All monies raised will go directly to she and George, so that they can focus on getting Liz well again.  Please keep her in your prayers.  Thank you!
