In April 2021, my grandfather Keith Dugger was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-small cell adenocarcinoma. The cancer had spread to multiple areas including his spine which has caused him to become paralyzed from the waste down. His doctors have been working on a treatment plan and he is currently admitted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. As he continues his daily battle and with the uncertainty of the future our family is trying our best to help support him and my grandma Sharon Dugger, who has not left his side since he was diagnosed. The family would like to help ease the burden of some of the added medical expenses, travel to and from the hospital for Sharon, and getting their home ready to take Keith back to it with the added stress of paralysis.
