Jerry Gonzalez contracted COVID-19 while caring for his wife Nancy and their children also battling the virus. Throughout the week he was experiencing high fevers, pain and fatigue all while trying to care for his family and maintaining his business accounts. He was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, November 23rd after becoming unresponsive at home. Jacob, his brave son, called 911 when he realized his dad needed medical attention. The dispatcher coached Jacob in performing CPR until the paramedics arrived. He was promptly put on a ventilator while multiple tests were being done to determine the prognosis. Jerry is fighting double pneumonia, multiple organ failure and brain damage. The family is awaiting results of neurological testing to determine the extent of the brain damage. Nancy, Jacob and Olivia are heartbroken and pray for a full recovery. Please pray for healing, strength and comfort. We know we have a merciful God who hears our prayers.
