********Update******** I know a lot of you have donated so much/helped spread the word already, FROM THE BOTTOM OF ALL OUR HEARTS!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! Everyone who helped set up/came out to Doggiefest helped us raise almost $3,000. It was such an amazing turn out. Thank you a million times and a million more!!!! You amazing people got us really really close to our goal of $10,000. All of that money went to him getting IVs to help him get the nutrients he was lacking (he’s gained 17 lbs so far!) Also all of your donations have allowed him to see a wonderful holistic doctor who unfortunately costs $400 per visit. That and his IVs also being $400 each feeding, it wasn’t long before he went through a good chunk of his donations. However, my dad is in dire need of having some work done on his teeth. We’ve come to realize that most of his symptomatic developments (tremors, severe systemic inflammation, sleep disturbances, heavy fatigue, scary mental dysfunction, anxiety, depression, damage to his respiratory and nervous system, neuropathy, shooting pain in his legs and feet) have been caused by mercury poisoning. His teeth have deteriorated which over time has been exposing his 35-40 year old fillings. His current doctor strongly believes that once he gets his teeth fixed, he will start seeing positive results almost immediately. Unfortunately since he has to take a non-western medicine route, it’s going to be $4,400. A very very wonderful and generous family friend donated half the amount, we just need $2,000 more. You probably also know that he has been battling a chronic gastric illness for the past 16 years which affects his everyday life. In the beginning of the year his illness spiraled out of control and now he's left with a very limited diet (much more limited than before) and an inability to digest solid foods which has caused him to be severely malnourished.
