Medical Expenses for Jacob Scott

 

 

Hi, my name is Janae and I'm trying to raise money for one of the best men I know. My stepdad, Jacob, was in a car accident on Friday the 25th that left my family's heartbroken. He sustained multiple serious injuries, including a shattered femur, and broken C1 and C4 and is going to need a few different surgeries and months of rehabilitation in order to fully recover. My mother is also 8 months pregnant with my new baby brother, Nolan. Jacob was planning on being a stay-at-home dad when my brother arrives, but he’s not going to be able to do so while he is recovering in the hospital. My mom is also going to have to take additional time off work before her maternity leave in order to stay home and care for Jacob. Nolan may be his first biological kid but Jacob has stepped up for me and my family in a way I could never have dreamed of. He has raised us selflessly and given me more than I could ever ask for. He taught me how to drive, how to work hard, how to make people laugh, and I could never thank him enough for being the best dad in the world and more importantly my best friend. He loves me and my mom and brother more than anything in the world and I really want to do this for him. All donated money will go towards Jacob’s medical bills during his long road to recovery.
