My name is Crystal and I am raising money for my brother-in-law's medical expenses after a head on collision that occurred on Sunday, April 16th, right off Gopher Canyon. He was delivering packages for Amazon Flex, however he will not be covered by workers comp because they are contracted workers by Amazon for Amazon. It's ridiculous that they don't insure their Flex workers, but that's just the way it is.

George was driving around a sharp curve early Sunday evening, when the car spun out of control and collided with another vehicle head on. He landed with his head on the passenger floor and feet in the air. We are just so greatful he is alive and breathing. Unfortunately he sustained quite a few traumatic injuries including his femur, upper arm, hand and knee. His first surgery was yesterday and he currently has a tube draining blood from his femur.

Unfortunately, George only has liability insurance so he won't be covered to even remove his car from the tow yard without paying a hefty fee. George is currently at the Palomar Medical Center in Escondido and they are anticipating him being there for this week.

Anything you can do to help make this less stressful for him and the family while he has a lengthy recovery ahead of him, would be greatly appreciated.

This accident has put a lot of stress on my sister financially and the last thing I want her to worry about is being able to come up with his portion of living expenses on top of his medical expenses.
