Medical expenses for FrankieD aka Frank Padilla
Donation protected
Family and friends, We Have a Match and your help will make a difference! As most already know, my husband Frank Padilla aka FrankieD, US Marine Vet., was diagnosed in July 2020 with a blood disorder, Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a preleukemia condition. He is a high risk and his immune system is compromised. The only cure is a bone marrow transplant. He has a tentative transplant date in March 2021 and will be hospitalized for a month and out of work for approx 1yr. with 0 income! To date, Frank has been hospitalized, loss of income, has had 2 platelet transfusions, a unit of blood, 2 biopsys, extensive blood work, medical bills and this is just the beginning. He needs continuous monitoring, blood work, biopsies, and possibly additional transfusions. Frank continues to have uncontrollable bloody noses and has be unable to work. Because Frank is a independent truck driver, he does not pay into unemployment and has to file for SSDI. We all know what that means. It may be months/years before he sees a penny. I/we will pray and will do our best to not lose everything we worked so hard for. .His health is priority. Most may not know, but I am also affected by this pandemic as most have been, with a 10% cut in pay.
If you can find it in your heart and able to donate, help keep a roof over our head, food on our table and with medical expenses, we are forever grateful. If not, we completely understand. God is good and we keep the faith.✝️ We are blessed in so many ways and love all our family and friends. I know this is a tough time for everyone, including us.
Please share as we truly need as much help as possible. We thank you in advance, and please continue to pray for us. God Bless!
Should any of our family or friends know of additional resources or nonprofit organizations to assist us in this difficult time, please feel free to reach out to us.
