Medical Expenses for Erin Blaise

This campaign is to raise money to cover cancer treatment & related expenses for Erin Blaise. Most of us have been negatively impacted by the wrath of cancer in one way or another. Maybe you have had cancer, maybe it was your mother, or your father, sister, brother, cousin, best friend, co-worker. It doesn't matter who; all that matters is that each of us have been affected by this horrible disease. 

For me, this is my aunt.  You may know her; Erin Blaise. She was a Realtor in Columbia, Missouri for many years. A few years ago, Erin decided to make a life change. She wanted to help people in a different way. She decided to become a nurse. Not only did she decide it, but she did it. She went after her dreams. Together, her and Uncle Dan put Erin through nursing school DEBT FREE! She worked her butt off to achieve her dreams; all while quietly reeling from learning she had been diagnosed with cervical cancer. 

Erin & Dan told very few friends and family. As Erin underwent treatment, she remained dedicated to her studies and her career. She worked her butt off to fight cancer and was eventually declared cancer-free!

Unfortunately, less than 1 1/2 years later, the cancer returned with a vengeance. Not only has the cancer come back, but is has now spread to her lymph nodes. Erin's prognosis is not good. When the cancer returned in 2016, Erin was told treatment may allow her another year with her husband, family, and friends. The future remains highly uncertain. 
 
Erin has been receiving treatment at The Cancer Treatment Centers of America. However, chemo treatments have not been consistently effective. But, Erin has not given up! And neither will we! She needs our help! While Erin has health insurance, it's coverage is limited. There are many out of pocket expenses that are not covered or have limited coverage. The travel costs are adding up and taking a financial toll.
