Hello! My name is Ashley. I’m wanting to help my sister, Payton raise money for her little girl Emersyn. Emersyn (Emmy) was diagnosed with Cystinosis about a month ago. So far she has had countless dr appointments & 2 hospital stays. Cystinosis is a rare genetic disease that causes cells to attack organs. She has a team of specialists at Children’s of Birmingham that are working with her case. They have informed my sister that Emersyn will have several hospital stays & medications. Even with insurance, the medical bills & medications are racking up. With Emersyn being hospitalized, Payton isn’t able to work as much as she would like or need to. I’m just trying to help take some of the burden of life off of her.
