Medical Expenses for Deputy Gary Tate

Wednesday, August 10th, Deputy Tate with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office was rushed to the hospital, and after 4 surgeries and 5 blood transfusions, he was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (cancer in his colon). One of the surgeries was to remove one very large mass, while the other 3 surgeries were to remove multiple areas of infection. These surgeries were very invasive, which will prevent him from being able to return to work soon. He has a wife and 3 kids ranging from ages 4 to 18. Everyone knows medical bills and just life, in general, is expensive. We want to help this family as much as possible in such a trying time. He has a long road to recovery, and anything will help!
