The day that the main photo for this fund was taken, Davie began coughing up blood after teaching a group of people in their home church.
Davie immediately went to the hospital emergency room where he was diagnosed with tuberculosis.
It has been a long journey since that day, he has been in hospital isolation for over 40 days now.
And, I just wanted to share a recent post from Danielle to share with you their faith, strength and struggle these past weeks..

So I always promise real life in these photos.. I have been holding up pretty well in my opinion lol, but some days are better than others but this week has been filled with bad days.
-News that my husband who we thought would be out this week, looks like he is staying in for a while longer.
-A TB scare with my youngest, turned out to be the common cold.
-Late night runs to pediatricians, appointments with infectious disease doctors
-Long nights filled with fever scares in a 4 month old.
- Our bank account is bleeding with my husband out of work.
-I am becoming exhausted, weary, my house is getting out control.
-Laundry is piling up, clearly you can tell by the state of these pants.
But in the midst of it, our God is still good:
-My husband is a wonderful light in that hospital and maybe his work there isn't done.
-My children and I are still TB free
-My long nights allow me to have more time communing with Jesus. (Most nights just yelling very softly so I don't wake the baby but Jesus knows I mean business.)
-We have a wonderful community pitching in to help with food and other things while we sort our finances out. Beautiful Church of God.
-My sister who was exhausted herself allowed me to sleep while she cleaned my house and watched Liam.
I choose into the side of gratitude today in the face of the giant that is in front of me. We will have the victory no matter how long it takes, because that is the promise of God and he is faithful, he is good. I have seen him do it before and he will do it again

His wife has been at home with their 2 young boys (Liam, 2 years old & Axel 4 months old) and the medical bills have began to come for Davie's extensive stay as well as all the medical testing on the children and Danielle since TB is contagious. Thankfully the boys and Danielle have remained TB free but still need to continue getting tested as there is a long incubation period of TB. We do not have a date of discharge for Davie yet, as it all depends on tests coming back as completely negative of him being contagious. Even then, the journey is not complete as there are still months of medication to keep the TB from not coming back or becoming drug resistant .
If you can please share the burden with this family I know they will be truly grateful for any help.
More than finances we ask you to pray:
-Pray Davie's tests come back negative soon so he can come home, he hasn't held his boys since December 1st.
-Pray the boys and Danielle remain TB free and healthy.
