Medical expenses for David Malamnao

I am Drexelle, the last child of David Malamnao. My dad had a massive stroke on the evening of January 14, 2023. He was found unresponsive on the ground by a friend. He was immediately transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital where he was scanned and treated promptly. His CT scan revealed massive clot on his basilar artery which supplies blood to most of the occipital lobe (back of his brain). He was given clot buster straight away then airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital for thrombectomy but God miraculously intervened and the big clot was dissolved so he didn’t have to go through the procedure. 

He was admitted in ICU for 5 days then transferred to the stroke ward after waking up. He was then transported back to TBH for continuing treatment and rehabilitation. He is currently admitted at Bailey Henderson for further evaluation and treatment plan for rehabilitation.

My dad is employed at the Rugby Farm in Stantorpe as Diesel Mechanic on a work visa but due to this unforeseen circumstance, him going back to work will totally depend on his recovery. We, as a family are apealling for your prayers for his speedy recovery and full restoration of his vision. Due to him being in the hospital and requiring a lot of physical, social and emotional support, we, his family are taking turns in looking after him and won't be able to commit to a full time job. We are appealing for financial help, whatever the amount is that you can give to help us get through this difficult season in our lives.

The amount from this fundraising will be used for his medical expenses and our family's expenses with daily travels to the hospital and home.
